Project:- Backlot Cinema

Brief:- To deliver the full external and Internal signage and graphics package.

From the initial team’s call, we were presented with a collection of mock up visuals and a budget that could not be
exceeded.

This project had now become a full design and build project, taking the designers concept visuals and turning them
into full construction drawings, material specification, fixing details and electrical loadings.

With an ever-changing design, the Image project team where tested day in and out to keep fully focused on the end
goal and the clients non-negotiable budget.

Like all high visual external signage implementation, planning was going to be a major obstacle. With fully detailed
visualisations and careful negotiations with Blackpool Planning we gained there full backing and from then on it was
all systems go on the externals.

Meantime internally many hours sat with the design team the final designs were becoming close to reality, with over
50 different signs / graphics our studio worked around the clock producing production ready artwork along with
construction drawings, at last we were ready to go.

The result of everyone’s involvement from the initial brief to the final installation is truly amazing team effort. To design and build what is probably one of the largest Cinema signage projects in several years is a testament to the skills and dedication of Image Technique.
